After a short break in proceedings, the Motorsport UK Pirelli Welsh Rally Championship returned into action for Round 4 of its 2023 season at the Quinton Motor Club organised Nicky Grist Stages. From Builth Wells, the Championship reached the mid-point in the season with eight gravel tests (four of repeated) covering approx 44 competitive stage miles, over stages in the Crychan and Halfway Forest complexes.
The MRF Tyres BTRDA Rally Series arrived in Builth Wells, Wales for the second time this season at the Nicky Grist Stages Rally, Round 5 of the 2023 Season. This award-winning Quinton Motor Club organised event never fails to deliver a cracking one-day forest rally, on what we think are some mega gravel stages for this part of God’s own back garden (aka Wales). Eight stages (four of repeated) covered approximately 44 competitive stage miles and would once again feature classic and renowned tests on both MOD and Natural Resources Wales owned land.
The second round of the 2021 British Rally Championship brought with it not only the return to gravel but the long-awaited return for Welsh Rallying. Organised by the very capable Quinton Motorclub, The Nicky Grist Stages offered up a 44-mile gravel rally spread over 8 very popular stages (2 loops of 4 repeated stages) in and around the Epynt Military ranges close to Builth Wells where the rally was based.
Following on from the opening round of the BRC, The Neil Howard Stages at Oulton Park; the battle between a top lineup of English, Irish and Welsh competitors continued to rage on in Wales at the Nicky Grist Stages.
