The TrackRod Motorclub would host the penultimate round of the 2023 FUCHS Lubricants British Historic Rally Championship from the seaside town of Filey, North Yorkshire. The TrackRod Historic Cup Rally would offer up an array of classic gravel tests in and around the Pickering area in stages such as Dalby, Cropton and Gale Rigg. With 6 stages on offer covering around 57 competitive stage miles, the bumper entry of BHRC crews would arrive in Yorkshire with a bit of a challenge on their hands.
The fifth round of the Motorsport UK Pirelli Welsh Rally Championships was filled with drama from before a competitive wheel had even turned, right down to the final stage of the event. The Phil Price Memorial Woodpecker Stages Rally would take place in hot and demanding conditions for the Welsh National crews over some tough and challenging stages which stretched across the Anglo-Welsh borders.
The MRF Tyres BTRDA Rally Series arrived in Ludlow for the sixth round of the 2023 season. As the Championship heats up so did the temperature out on the stages at the Phill Price Memorial Woodpecker Stages Rally where the series began it’s descent into the final three events of the year.
The FUCHS Lubricants British Historic Rally Championship returned to the gravel for the fifth round of its 2023 season at the Phill Price Memorial Woodpecker Stages Rally.
The Motorsport UK British Rally Championship arrived in Aberystwyth, Wales for the fifth round of the 2023 season, at what is becoming the hot favourite Asphalt stage rallying event on our shores, The Rali Ceredigion.
The FUCHs Lubricants British Historic Rally Championship returned into action for Round 4 of its 2023 season, this time however, there was a rather significant difference to the previous rounds. For the first time since the 2019 Ulster Rally, the BHRC would venture onto the Asphalt and The Nigel Ferguson Fabricators Tour of Epynt would take the honor’s of being the Championship’s one and only visit to the black stuff this season.
After a short break in proceedings, the Motorsport UK Pirelli Welsh Rally Championship returned into action for Round 4 of its 2023 season at the Quinton Motor Club organised Nicky Grist Stages. From Builth Wells, the Championship reached the mid-point in the season with eight gravel tests (four of repeated) covering approx 44 competitive stage miles, over stages in the Crychan and Halfway Forest complexes.
The MRF Tyres BTRDA Rally Series arrived in Builth Wells, Wales for the second time this season at the Nicky Grist Stages Rally, Round 5 of the 2023 Season. This award-winning Quinton Motor Club organised event never fails to deliver a cracking one-day forest rally, on what we think are some mega gravel stages for this part of God’s own back garden (aka Wales). Eight stages (four of repeated) covered approximately 44 competitive stage miles and would once again feature classic and renowned tests on both MOD and Natural Resources Wales owned land.
The Motorsport UK British Rally Championship would venture a little further away from home for the third round of its 2023 season. For those competitors who were both brave enough and had the budget to contest the Ardeca Ypres Rally. Approx 220 kilometres of some of Belgium’s finest stretches of tarmac rallying stages would await them across the channel in and around the Historic town of Ypres.
The MRF Tyres BTRDA Rally Series remained in the North for the fourth round of its 2023 Championship season at the Kielder Forest Rally. The Cumberland Sporting Car Club laid on a compact one-day event, utilising three (repeated) tests in the southern part of the legendary Kielder Forest Complex.
