01/03/2023As part of our continued commitment to National Rallying coverage, Xlerate is pleased to confirm the return of the BTRDA Rally Series to its pages for 2023.
“The BTRDA Rally Series is perhaps one of, if not the most supported national stage rallying Championships going.” Xlerate’s Chief Editor, Andy Cook comments. “A mainstay in clubman rallying for many decades, this series is still going strong to the present day”. Last year Xlerate covered every round of the season, 2023 Marks the 70th year of its two leading awards, the GoldStar and SilverStar Rally Championships and Xlerate is pleased to once again fill its pages with Free-To-View Online post rally reports of the series.
Headline sponsors MRF Tyres will once again return in support of the series, which will feature another top calendar filled with quality one-day gravel rally events. This year, eight rounds which stretch from Scotland right down through the Anglo – Scottish Borders, into The North West of England, Yorkshire, Wales and the Anglo-Welsh Border will face the registered crews this season.

“The BTRDA and the events which year upon year feature in its line-up has been a firm favourite of Xlerate in recent years” Andy goes on to say “Each of those Rallies are guaranteed to use the best stages from around the UK and they always attract a top array of entrants across the field; this is why we absolutely love this Championships here at Xlerate”.
There has been a number of tweaks to the classes this year in response to feedback from its competitors, but one thing is for sure with the BTRDA Series, and that is, there IS a place for anyone who wants to get out on the stages and have some “Serious Fun” in a rally car.
Xlerate’s Free-To-View online coverage of the 2023 MRF Tyres BTRDA Rally Series will begin with the opening round, The Malcolm Wilson Stages Rally, which takes place on the gravel in the Forests of The Lake District on the 11th of March.
