The Forests of North Yorkshire came alive with the sounds of horsepower once again as the FUCHS Lubricants British Historic Rallying Championship began its 2023 season with the Riponean Rally. This ever-popular event signalled the start of another promising season of Historic Stage rallying, where seven quality events are expected to feature on the calendar this year.
The Motorsport UK British Rally Championship crowned all new Champions in 2022, with seven tough and challenging rounds across both gravel and asphalt stages up and down the country; the series offered up the ideal proving ground for Britons’ bright young rallying hopefuls at the pinnacle of national rallying.
The MRF Tyres BTRDA Rally Series ventured into the Forests of North Yorkshire for its penultimate round of the 2022 season. The fast gravel stages dotted around the Pickering area offered up 45 competitive miles across those classic Yorkshire tests which have been synonymous with British rallying over decades.
