The FUCHs Lubricants British Historic Rally Championship returned into action for Round 4 of its 2023 season, this time however, there was a rather significant difference to the previous rounds. For the first time since the 2019 Ulster Rally, the BHRC would venture onto the Asphalt and The Nigel Ferguson Fabricators Tour of Epynt would take the honor’s of being the Championship’s one and only visit to the black stuff this season.
The FUCHS Lubricants British Historic Rally Championship remained in North Wales for the third round of its 2023 season. From the picturesque South Snowdonian town of Bala in North Wales, the Plains rally (May 20) organised by the Knutsford & District Motor Club, would lay on 44 competitive stage miles over eight World Class gravel stages in the Alwen and Aberhirnant Forest Complexes.
The Forests of North Yorkshire came alive with the sounds of horsepower once again as the FUCHS Lubricants British Historic Rallying Championship began its 2023 season with the Riponean Rally. This ever-popular event signalled the start of another promising season of Historic Stage rallying, where seven quality events are expected to feature on the calendar this year.
The FUCHS Lubricants British Historic Rally Championship returns to the stages this weekend in the forests of North Yorkshire. The Riponian Stages Rally will once again carry the honours for kickstarting the 2023 season off, and just as it did last year, will open up the proceedings on gravel.
And so, D-Day had arrived for the 2022 FUCHS Lubricants British Historic Rally Championships. The season final at the Carlise Stages on the Anglo-Scottish borders would offer up six final stages in and around the Kielder Forest complex for the crews to have just one final battle over.
Some seven months ago the FUCHS Lubricants British Historic Rally Championship got underway in Yorkshire at the Riponean Rally for its season opener and it would return to some of those renowned gravel stages for the fifth round at the TrackRod Historic Cup Stages Rally.
It seems like a forever and a day since the FUCHS Lubricants British Historic Rally Championships last graced the stages, but finally, one of the UK’s most popular series returned into action at the Phill Price Memorial Woodpecker Stages Rally.

Three times British Rally Champion, Matt “The King Of British Rallying” Edwards returned to the British Historic Rally Championship scene in a Fiat Abarth 131 and ended the reign of the mighty MK2 Escort at the Rally North Wales.
The British Historic Rally Championship made a welcomed return to the British rallying calendar, with the Riponian Rally in North Yorkshire taking the honours as the opening event of the 2022 FUCHS Lubricants sponsored season for the first time.
